Jonnie Morgan is a professional photographer based in Co. Galway, Ireland. He primarily photographs urban and scenic landscapes as well as wildlife.

He is fascinated by the forever changing emotion that can be found in the changing landscape.

Back in the late 80’s, early 90’s, he picked up a digital camera. And instantly loved the feeling of having a camera in his hand, being able to capture what he saw. For many years he practised amateur photography.

Starting his first commercial photography business in 2004, calling it Elevated Photography as it was based mainly on a unique ground based aerial photography system.

For Jonnie photography is all about light, all about capturing the right moment, all about colour or the lack of it, all about using focus and composition to direct the eye of the viewer, and all about displaying something in a unique and exciting way.

When asked about his “style”, he says it is a “blend of classic photography and photo-journalism, but that’s just an attempt to put a label to it. It is best that my pictures just speak for themselves and I stay away from labels”.

Jonnie works mainly in Ireland but can be persuaded to work about anywhere in the world.
